Manga had served in his post since Jan. 1, 2008. He was responsible for issued related to the Harmonized Tariff System, valuation and origin. He previously worked at the WCO Secretariat in Brussels from 1992 to 1999 as deputy director of valuation.
He was director of customs in Cameroon from 2005 until his election to the WCO directorship.
