Schenker increases air fleet network in Canada Schenker of Canada will from Oct. 1 increase its air cargo capabilities and services including earlier arrivals and later departures in all cities served, increased capacity in Alberta with more inbound and outbound positions, and the addition of a dedicated aircraft for the Vancouver, British Columbia hub.
   'Our enhanced service is a major step forward for our air freight business,' said Claude Germain, chief operating officer at Schenker of Canada. 'It gives our customers preferred access to an overnight fleet and complete coast-to-coast capabilities while providing Vancouver with enhanced, reliable air services.'
   Dwayne Hihn, Schenker of Canada’s senior vice president, air products, said: 'This expansion of capabilities is our first in delivering a cost-effective and service-friendly air network that can readily support the addition of more points in future. In addition, we will provide these new services concurrently and do it with current rates in place.'
