EMERY FORWARDING STARTS ONLINE TRADE COMPLIANCE COURSES    Emery Forwarding will provide online international trade and compliance seminars to customers.
   The service will be provided by the company’s new business group, Managed Learning Services, which is part of the Managed Trade Services Group, based in Dallas, Texas. The seminars will cover a range of import issues.
   “Many companies have restricted employee travel to save money and because of security concerns,” said Ted Iwaszkiw, vice president of customs brokerage for Emery Forwarding, a division of Menlo Worldwide. “In this environment, we believe we can better meet our customers’ training needs by offering online courses.”
   The seminars will allow people to log on to a Website to view documents related to the course, and dial into a conference call for the audio portion. “An extensive network of customs attorneys and internal subject matter experts will teach the courses,” the company said.
