OIA starts day-definite service

   OIA Global has launched a new day-definite, less-than-truckload service for shipments across the United States. 
   OIA Day Definite will cover deliveries within one to six business days.
   “We are very excited about this new service because it allows shippers a dependable and competitively priced option to move shipments to virtually any point across the contiguous 48 states, door-to-door,” OIA’s Dante Fornari said in a statement.
   OIA Chief Executive Officer Charlie Hornecker pointed to the new service as another example of the company’s rapidly expanding programs. The company recently acquired the materials sourcing division of PACCESS. When the acquisition was announced on Feb. 15, Hornecker anticipated adding 10 percent to the company’s workforce over the next 30 days. – Jon Ross
