Changes to CMA CGM/Maersk Asia-Black Sea service

   CMA CGM and Maersk Line are amending the rotation and vessel deployment of their joint service between the Far East and the Black Sea, according to schedule research from American Shipper affiliate ComPair Data.
   The service, which CMA CGM calls BEX3 and Maersk calls AE3, will add a second westbound call at Port Kelang. And as of the Nov. 23, an existing eastbound call at Tanjung Pelepas will be swapped for one at Singapore. The revised rotation will be Dalian, Xingang, Busan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Taipei, Chiwan, Yantian, Tanjung Pelepas, Port Kelang, Izmit, Istanbul, Constanta, Ilyichevsk, Odessa, Damietta, Port Said, Port Kelang, Singapore, and Dalian.
   In addition, the lines will switch out two vessels on the service – one of the new vessels will be an 8,063-TEU ship from Maersk. The service was previously operated with ships in the 6,200 TEU to 6,500 TEU range.
   The service underwent other changes in July, when westbound calls at Damietta and Port Said were dropped.
