Enviable position Maersk issues first ever bonds for capital
   A.P. Moller – Maersk has for the first time in its history issue bonds to raise capital for potential acquisitions and debt repayments.
   The shipping giant, No. 1 in the world in terms of containership fleet capacity, sold 750 million euros ($1.13 billion) in bonds, it emerged Friday. That follows the $1.8 billion the company said it intended to raise through a sale of new shares in the company in September.

Maersk to drop India/Mideast/Med service
   Maersk Line said last week it is suspending a key Indian Subcontinent/Middle East/Mediterranean loop from December and in turn bolstering two Asia/Europe services with new calls at key Middle East transshipment ports.
   The Danish liner carrier said it will drop its ME3 service between the Indian Subcontinent and the Mediterranean at the beginning of December, a suspension that will last six months and one intended to match capacity with drops in seasonal demand.
