The new business, IJS Global Korea Inc., opened Wednesday and serves locations in Seoul, Masan, Busan and Incheon, with operating facilities in Seoul and Busan.
It is headed by Y.S. Lee, a 25-year industry veteran with stints at the former Air Express International Corp. and Menlo Worldwide Forwarding.
South Korea is the eighth IJS location in Asia and will handle air and ocean imports and exports, warehousing and distribution, customs brokerage, domestic transport, project cargo and vendor-managed inventory services.
