Dole Packaged Foods picks INTTRA-Link software for Asian units

Dole Packaged Foods picks INTTRA-Link software for Asian units    Dole Packaged Foods, a division of Dole Food Co., has contracted for software from INTTRA Inc. to manage its booking, documenting and tracking of cargo across multiple shipping lines.
   The produce provider will use the INTTRA-Link application to manage documentation necessary to book shipments of food products from the Philippines and Thailand to ports around the world.
   “We made the decision to integrate INTTRA-Link with our enterprise computer systems in our major Asian divisions partly because the solution provides a centralized view into our global supply chain. This system has allowed Dole to book ocean shipments quickly, eliminating most of the oral communications previously conducted with many of our carriers,” said Paulette Kolba, regional sales director for INTTRA.
   Dole Packaged Foods is based in Westlake Village, Calif. INTTRA is based in Parsippany, N.J.
