Jacksonville, Fla.-based Sea Star Line’s 19,283-gross-ton vessel 'Guayama' will be sold to Lancaster Export Services of the British Virgin Islands for scrapping in India. The vessel was built in Chester, Pa. in 1969.
In addition, Sea Star Line’s 19,046-gross-ton 'Humacao' will be sold to India-based Anisa Shipping for scrapping. The vessel was also built in Chester, Pa. in 1968.
New Orleans-based Waterman Steamship Corp.’s 28,580-gross-ton vessel 'Robert E. Lee' will be sold to Eckhardt Marine in Germany for scrapping in India.
