Econocaribe offering new Grand Cayman service

Econocaribe offering new Grand Cayman service Econocaribe Consolidators, the Miami-based non-vessel-operating common carrier, has launched a new weekly less-than-containerload service from Miami to Georgetown, Grand Cayman.
   Han Schnoor, the trade lane manager for Econocaribe, said cargo volumes to Cayman have justified the decision to make Georgetown a direct-call port.
   Econocaribe has partnered in Cayman with Miracle Brokers International, a local ship agent and broker with more than 20 years of service in that market.
   'With our joint infrastructure, we are able to offer full cargo transportation services, including brokerage and delivery as needed to Grand Cayman,' Schnoor said.
   Econocaribe said the transit time for the new service is five days.
