CSAV to halt India transpacific loop    Chilean liner carrier CSAV said Monday it will suspend its loop connecting the Indian Subcontinent and Far East with the U.S. West Coast due to 'prevailing negative market conditions on the transpacific trade.'
   The line's ASIAM service, operated by its CSAV Norasia subsidiary, is the only service directly connecting India with the U.S. West Coast. It is due to be suspended as of the June 30 sailing, CSAV said.
   According to American Shipper affiliate ComPair Data, the standalone service has a rotation of Colombo, Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Port Klang, Cai Mep, Yantian, Shanghai, Ningbo, Long Beach, Oakland, Busan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Chiwan, Port Klang and Colombo.
   It operates with 11 vessels with an average capacity of 3,486 TEUs.
