Indian logistics company Arshiya joins container rail gang    Indian logistics company Arshiya International said earlier this month that it plans to launch private rail operations in November, the Economic Times reported.
   It would become the ninth such non-state-owned company to take advantage of the Indian government’s offer to allow private operators to run container trains using Indian Railways lines.
   The operators require a license from the government and also must provide their own railcars and wheel sets, as well as develop at least one private inland container freight station. Arshiya, which received its license in May, said it has ordered 900 railcars, the first 45 of which should be delivered by November. Each car can handle two TEUs.
