ITC agrees Canadian softwood lumber imports injure U.S. producers    The U.S. International Trade Commission reaffirmed its determination in connection with the partial remand of its final phase antidumping and countervailing duty investigations of softwood lumber imports from Canada.
   The ITC said U.S. producers are “threatened with material injury” because Canadian softwood lumber is “subsidized and sold in the United States at less than fair value.”
   The investigations involving Canadian softwood lumber were remanded in part to the ITC by the North American Free Trade Agreement Binational Panel on Sept. 5. The ITC previously had made affirmative determinations on May 16, 2002.
   The ITC’s remand determinations were delivered to the NAFTA Binational Panel on Dec. 15.
