The new terminal, which can accommodate containerships, roll-on/roll-off vessels and car carriers, has four berths with a total length of 750 meters and a stacking area of about 205,000 square meters.
Zim said that during the first week of operation, the terminal discharged 2,264 brand new cars in 28 hours from the Mitsui O.S.K.-operated car carrier “Courageous Ace”, a record for Nigeria.
