COSCO Pacific volume rebound continues    COSCO Pacific on Thursday said March container throughput rose 14.2 percent to 3.6 million TEUs.
   For the year, the Hong Kong-based global terminal operator said volume at terminals in which owns a stake rose 19.1 percent to 10.6 million TEUs.
   Volume rebounds are continuing at most of COSCO's terminals in major Asian ports. Its Yantian facility in the Port of Shenzhen improved 16.6 percent to 730,000 TEUs, in March. Its Qingdao terminals increased nearly 10 percent to 926,000 TEUs, while its Hong Kong terminal grew 12.2 percent to 118,000 TEUs.
   Significant growth is continuing at COSCO's Nansha terminal in the Port of Guangzhou, with March volume up 71.9 percent to 223,000 TEUs.
   However, volume at COSCO's terminals in Shanghai saw volume in March drop near 18 percent to 392,000 TEUs. The Suez Canal Container Terminal, in which COSCO owns a minority stake, rose 20.2 percent in March to 236,000 TEUs.
