FMC reviews 14 OTI applications, revokes 11 licenses    The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 14 ocean transportation intermediary license applications for review.
   The agency received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Global Shipping & Freight International, Tampa, Fla. (Wissam Bahloul, president); La Costa Logistics Services, Carlsbad, Calif. (Chihlung Chao, president); Ultimate Logistics Enterprises, Fontana, Calif. (Robert Kwing Tang, president); Unlimited Express Corp., Jamaica, N.Y. (Jacy Chen, president); SWAT Logistics Int’l, Jamaica, N.Y. (Min Qiu, president); Flexitank Food Grade, Catano, Puerto Rico (Heracilio Prieto, chief operating officer); JSJ Express, Flushing, N.Y. (James Wang, president); Sun-Way Logistics (USA), Alhambra, Calif. (Theresa Lee, president); and Embarque Tenares Corp., Bronx, N.Y. (Juan A. Luna, president).
   The FMC received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from USCA Forwarding-Seabell Express, Hoboken, N.J. (John Sims, president); Luciano Shipping, Bronx, N.Y. (Marcos Luciano, president); and Turk Group, Los Angeles (Bilgin Turkesever, chief executive officer).
   The agency also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Wickman Worldwide Services, Evansville, Ind. (Edward T. Wickman, president); and Hiers Global Logistics, Middleburg, Fla. (Steven N. Hiers, president).
   Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington at (202) 523-5843.
   The FMC revoked 11 OTI licenses for failure to maintain valid bonds. The firms include All Continental Group, Alhambra, Calif.; All Dimensions, Newburg, Ind.; Customs Services International, Miami; Data Cargo Co., Miami; Elliot C. Penalosa, Fontana, Calif.; Fidelity Shipping, Dallas; Overseas Shipping, Orlando, Fla.; PMJ International, North Plainfield, N.J.; Scorpion Express Line Corp., Miami; Target Shipping Co., Cranford, N.J.; and World Wide Relocation, Elgin, Ill.
