GENCO secures warehouse management contracts with U.S. military GENCO Infrastructure Solutions, a subsidiary of Pittsburgh-based GENCO Supply Chain Solutions, was awarded two U.S. government contracts valued at up to $9.7 million.
   The Defense Logistics Agency selected ADG Enterprises, a small firm located in Norcross, Ga., to operate four controlled property centers for the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service, based in Battle Creek, Mich. As ADG's subcontractor, GENCO will manage warehouse operations at the Norfolk, Va. and Stockton, Calif. centers, providing the 'last physical check point' before property is released to the general public.
   This contract has a base period of 18 months with two 18-month options, for a total value of $13.78 million. GENCO's portion is valued at up to $5.85 million.
   The Air Force also awarded GENCO a 33-month contract to perform support services at Patrick Air Force Base, located near Cape Canaveral, Fla.
   The contract is valued at $1.05 million for the first nine months and $2.8 million for the two additional years, for a total value of up to $3.85 million, GENCO said.
   Under the contract, GENCO will perform munitions management, materials acquisition, travel arrangements, personal property moves and air terminal services for the 45th Space Wing, which offers support to for NASA's space operations.
   Both contracts start Jan. 1.
