Richard DiNucci, program director of 10+2 for CBP, will speak to small and medium importers at the Medinah Country Club in Illinois, but his presentation will also be broadcast over the Internet in a webinar.
The program is open to members of Trade Bridge, and the group said non-members who want to attend or listen to the presentation can do so by joining Trade Bridge, which charges no fee for membership.
Small and medium companies “have very different needs and concerns than large and multinational companies,' said Leslie Levy August, secretary general of Trade Bridge. 'Often those needs get overlooked or unintentionally misrepresented. Smaller companies don’t have the resources to travel to as many conferences and events or to spend a lot of time researching future CBP actions that will affect them. Trade Bridge is fulfilling its commitment to its members by bringing CBP to them — at no cost.”
Trade Bridge is a for-profit, Internet-based, organization that was established in 2006 and works as an advocate for small to medium size enterprises involved in trade. It does not have intermediates such as freight forwarders, customs brokers as members, seeking to directly represent importers and exporters.
