Descartes continues record profitability

Logistics and compliance software provider Descartes sees profitability and revenue rise 11 percent in Q3, its 40th consecutive such month.    Same old story for Descartes Systems Group in its third fiscal quarter — record revenue and record profits for the 40th straight quarter.
   In this case, the same story ain’t so bad for the logistics and trade compliance software provider
   Descartes said quarterly revenue was up 11 percent in the 2015 fiscal third quarter, to $43.1 million, while earnings before interest, taxes, amortization and depreciation rose 16 percent, year-over-year, to $13.2 million.
   More than 200,000 parties are connected to the provider’s Global Logistics Network, exchanging more than 4.5 billion messages each year.
   So far this fiscal year, Descartes’ revenue is up 14 percent to $126.6 million. EBITDA rose 17 percent, to $38.1 million, while net income year-to-date was up 72 percent to $11 million.
