JDA enhances TMS with analytics

   JDA Software has announced upgrades to its Transportation Manager and Transportation Planner, the company’s transportation management services (TMS) that cover long-range operational planning and daily activities.
   The enhancements include access to Chainalytics’ Integrated Freight Market Intelligence service, which covers freight market insights, rate benchmarks and predictive analytics. JDA’s system can now be integrated with new analytics through JDA’s existing Business Analysis module. Also on the list are improvements around dock scheduling and capacity modeling.
   Companies using the Transportation Manager now have better access to services that manage the entire transportation lifecycle and provide end-to-end visibility. The upgraded Transportation Planner supports better cost-optimized and inventory management around order fulfillment and replenishment plans, JDA said.
