Gerschultz has been vice president of the southern division for the small-package ground carrier since 1994. He joined the company in 1986.
William E. Snavely will succeed Gerschultz as vice president, southern division. Snavely joined FedEx Ground in 1995 and has served as managing director, Southwest region since last year.
