Emirates launches new services

   Emirates Airline has commenced A380 services between Dubai and Brisbane, as well as new services from Dubai to Milan, New York and the Philippines.
   The service to New York, which is being flown on a Boeing 777-300ER, routes through Milan. The carrier already serves the two cities and will now have three daily flights into New York City.
   “Today is an extremely significant day for our network,” Tim Clark, Emirates’ president, said in a statement. “We are connecting two great cities across the Atlantic, opening an important new gateway into the Philippines, which helps links Filipino communities across the world, and our magnificent flagship aircraft will quietly descend into yet another destination.”
   In the coming months, Emirates is planning new services to Boston, Kabul, Kiev and Taipei, among others.
