A report in Dominican Today said that once the old terminal is destroyed, a new terminal measuring 10,000 square meters will be built at the port. It will have three levels and will be capable of handling 3,800 tourists per ship.
The report said Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines is expected to begin calling the new terminal in December 2007.
