EVERGREEN TO REVISE TWO TRANSPACIFIC SERVICES    Taiwan’s Evergreen Line is planning to revise two of its weekly transpacific container services in or around May by shortening their port rotations and withdrawing several vessels.
   A spokesman for the carrier said that the five-ship TransPacific Northwest TPN service and the six-vessel Hong Kong-Taiwan-U.S. West Coast HTW service will probably be restructured and become two four-vessel services.
   The number of ports served, and transit times between remaining ports, are likely to be reduced, the spokesman said.
   Studies for the service changes, that would coincide with the start of this summer’ new contracting season in the transpacific trade, have not been finalized.
   Besides the TPN and HTW, Evergreen runs separate westbound and eastbound round-the-world services, as well as the TransPacific Southwest loop and an AUE all-water East Coast service in the Pacific trade.
