JONES APPOINTED HEAD OF U.S. OPERATIONS OF WALLENIUS WILHELMSEN

JONES APPOINTED HEAD OF U.S. OPERATIONS OF WALLENIUS WILHELMSEN    Wallenius Wilhelmsen has promoted Gary R. Jones to the position of senior vice president of operations for its Americas region.
   Based in the company’s regional headquarters in Woodcliff Lake, N.J., Jones will be responsible for all operational activities, including vessel planning, operations, cargo quality, and port operations for North, South and central America.
   Previously, Jones was responsible for Wallenius Wilhelmsen’s operations on the U.S. North and South Atlantic and Gulf coasts.
   Along with Jones’ appointment, the company also announced the following promotions: Mary Tritch to general manager, U.S. North Atlantic; Neil Paterson to general manager, U.S. South Atlantic and Gulf; Robbert van Pelt to general manager of vessel planning; and David Minetti to general manager of operations services.
