William Payne will become senior vice president, trade. He joined NYK in 1989 and has been senior vice president of operating services since 2001.
Greg Tuthill will take Payne's former position as senior vice president, operations. Tuthill joined NYK Line in 1997 from American President Lines.
Tom Nurre continues in his role as vice president of sales, concentrating on the company’s global services group. He will be joined by two other men who will hold the same title.
Chris Capodanno was promoted to vice president of sales, responsible for the company’s western and central regions. Capodanno joined NYK in 1991.
Cliff Pyron has been appointed vice president of sales, in charge of the company’s eastern and southern regions. He joins NYK after 19 years at Maersk Sealand.
