BBC Chartering opens new office

The heavy lift and project cargo carrier opened a new office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Aug. 1.    BBC Chartering announced it opened its 30th office Aug. 1, located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
   The representative office is classified as a satellite office through the carrier’s regional hub in Singapore.
   “We look forward to providing Vietnam with direct access to our world-leading network of project, breakbulk, and general cargo shipping,” BBC Chartering CEO Svend Andersen said in a statement. “This step allows to improve our project related trading activities in this region and to further tighten our Far East network for customers.”
   BBC Chartering specializes in the ocean carriage of heavy lift and project cargoes with a fleet of 150 multi-purpose heavy lift vessels.
