Management Dynamics acquires BridgePoint

Management Dynamics acquires BridgePoint    Management Dynamics Inc., a provider of price and contract management software, has bought BridgePoint, a provider of supply chain visibility and event management technology. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
   “Managing global supply chains depends on information flows that integrate suppliers and service providers with internal operations. The BridgePoint acquisition offers our customers proven technology that synchronizes supply chains to deliver faster cycle times, fewer stock-outs, and lower transportation costs,” said Jim Preuninger, chief executive officer of Management Dynamics, which is based in East Rutherford, N.J. BridgePoint is based in the Research Triangle near Durham, N.C.
   BridgePoint’s clients include Apple Computer, Best Buy, FedEx Supply Chain Services, Hyundai Motor America, Levi Strauss & Co., and Procter & Gamble.
