Two Iraqi generals received a tour and security briefing Wednesday from Coast Guard Sector Miami, visiting the waterfront area around the Port of Miami to learn about challenges the U.S. Coast Guard faces to counterterrorism, drug trafficking, and illegal migration.

Gen. Babakir Baderakhan Zibari, commanding general and chief of staff Iraqi Joint Forces, and Maj. Gen. Mohamed Naqshbande, commander training and doctrine command Iraqi Joint Forces, along with an Iraqi translator, were briefed by several Coast Guard officers from the Miami offices. The generals were picked up at Miami International Airport and taken on a waterfront tour abord the Coast guard cutter Dolphin.
