The custom-built 20-foot flatracks, delivered to its Rotterdam Shortsea terminal last week, are designed with internal loading space maximized and empty weight minimized. The design has been optimized to carry longer, higher and wider loads than would fit on a standard flatrack.
In addition to more cargo space, the customized design also offers an increased payload. In the case of brick shipments, for example, the new flatrack accommodates two extra pallets per move.
