Purolator International names Routledge VP sales

   Purolator International has appointed Jonathan Routledge to vice president of sales and marketing.
   He was previously the company’s district manager for the eastern United States. Routledge, a 25-year industry veteran, will assist with Purolator International’s U.S. expansion. He started his logistics career at DHL Express in the United Kingdom. In 2009, he moved to Streamlite Inc., a package delivery company, where he served as senior vice president of sales and marketing. In 2011, he joined Purolator International in the Farmingdale, N.Y. location.
   Purolator International, a subsidiary of Canadian parcel and freight delivery services provider Purolator Inc., reentered the U.S. market in 2011 and has opened 10 branch offices in markets such as San Francisco, Minneapolis, Boston and Salt Lake City to facilitate cross border logistics for shipments moving between the United States and Canada. This year, Purolator anticipates opening 10 additional U.S. offices.
