Port of Antwerp creates online tool for property investors

The new platform makes it easier for warehouse users to find facilities for rent or sale on port property.    Investors in search of available locations in the Port of Antwerp can now go to a new online platform that provides a complete list of real estate being offered in the port area to more easily match supply and demand.
   Until recently, potential investors had to go on a long search using various channels. The new real estate platform offers them a clear, complete overview of all commercial premises for rent or sale in the port area. The sites for which the port authority seeks a concession-holder are also listed on the platform. 
   The platform is available in Dutch and English and is aimed at owners and real estate agents. The property list is updated monthly. Filters can be used to search according to real estate agent, type of property, location and other criteria.

  Antwerp is a major distribution hub for Europe. It currently has more than 6 million square meters of warehouse space available, or 5.9 percent of the total storage capacity.
  Centralizing all available logistics real estate is designed to help the port become more attractive to potential customers and increase the port’s competitiveness.
