Deutsche Post posts net profit decline    Deutsche Post reported consolidated third quarter net profit of $513 million compared to net profit of $784 million a year earlier.
   Revenue for the period Sept. 30 was $22.9 billion versus $21.8 in the same 2006 period.
   The mail division saw its revenue for the quarter increase 0.5 percent, the express division was up 1.8 percent, logistics improved 8.4 percent, financial services revenues was up 5 percent and other services rose 7.8 percent.
   DHL global forwarding during the third quarter handled 1.1 million tons of air cargo, 5 percent more than in the same 2006 period, and 686,000 TEUs, up 19.5 percent.
   In the first nine months of the year DHL global forwarding handled 3.2 million tons of air cargo and 1.89 million TEUs.
