PACER GLOBAL LOGISTICS NAMES FIORI PRESIDENT OF LOGISTICS UNIT

PACER GLOBAL LOGISTICS NAMES FIORI PRESIDENT OF LOGISTICS UNIT    Dodd W. Fiori, a former NYK and APL executive, has been named president of the Freight Consolidation and Handling group of Pacer Global Logistics, a unit of Pacer International.
   He will be based in South Gate, Calif., and his service group will support both discrete freight handling operations for customers and freight handling components for comprehensive, integrated service portfolios coordinated for customers across the Pacer organization.
   Fiori, a 30-year veteran of the ocean transportation and logistics industry, was chief operating officer and a member of the board of directors for NYK North America. He also served as senior vice president of sales and marketing for NYK from 1990 to 1998. Prior to that he was vice president of pricing and marketing for global container operator APL.
   Pacer Global Logistics is the logistics division of Pacer International, the non-asset-based North American third-party logistics company, based in Concord, Calif.
