Maersk to relaunch Asia/Central America loop    Maersk Line said this week it is relaunching a service connecting Asia and Central America at the end of May.
   The line's AC3 service will have a rotation of Qingdao, Gwangyang, Busan, Yokohama, Lazaro Cardenas, Balboa, Buenaventura, Lazaro Cardenas and Qingdao. The service will operate with eight vessels of roughly 4,000 TEUs of capacity.
   The calls at Busan and Buenaventura are new.
   Maersk suspended the AC3 in mid-October 2010, saying it need to better balance supply and demand in the trade. The service was dubbed a 'peak loader' to account for seasonal spikes in demand.
   The relaunched service will operate with one additional vessel (eight instead of seven) likely due to the additional calls.
