PORT OF JACKSONVILLE TO ADD BRAZILIAN AUTO IMPORTER    The Jacksonville Port Authority said it would begin handling imports of Brazilian-made utility vehicles, starting this quarter.
   Auto distributor Cross Lander U.S.A. plans this year to import up to 6,000 Cross Lander 244s, full-sized, four-door multipurpose utility vehicles manufactured in Manaus, Brazil.
   The vehicles will be shipped via 'K' Line vessels to Jacksonville's Blount Island terminal, where they will be processed by Distribution and Auto Service Inc.
   Cross Lander U.S.A. plans to sell the 244s through dealers in the U.S. East, Southeast, Southwest and Midwest.
   Jacksonville Port Authority terminals last year handled a record 615,000 vehicles, maintaining its position as the nation's largest vehicle-handling port.
