Piontek named president of TMS provider 3PLogic

   Transportation Solutions Enterprises (TSE) has appointed Richard G. Piontek as president of 3PLogic, the company’s transportation management and technology services subsidiary.
   Piontek takes over from 3PLogic’s current president and co-founder, Eric Rempel, who will focus on continued innovation and development of the company’s technology platform as its chief information officer.
   “We’re excited to welcome a leader of Rich’s caliber to our team,” said Todd Berger, president and chief executive officer of TSE, the holding company for 3PLogic. “His experience and knowledge of the transportation and third party logistics industry will be invaluable, and we are looking forward to where he can take us.”
   Piontek has more than 25 years of transportation and logistics management experience at Livingston International, Schneider National and DHL. The company said it recruited Piontek to develop 3PLogic’s transportation management product offerings and manage its expanding business operations.
   Founded in 2009, 3PLogic offers TMS functionality along with proprietary applications to integrate its TMS with existing client systems.
