Hoffman will be responsible for developing the global strategy for Damco’s customers within the areas of industrial manufacturing.
Hoffman has more than 30 years of industry experience in operations, business development and account management, Damco said. Prior to joining Damco, he was with Kuehne + Nagel in a similar role, leading the industrial vertical in North America. He also had a stint with Panalpina as the global leader of the forwarder’s automotive vertical.
Damco is the forwarding arm of the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group.
