Kurt Kuehn has been named vice president of the United Parcel Service’s
recently established Investors Relations Department.
The Atlanta-based express delivery company last week raised more than $5.4
billion in the largest ever initial public offering of stock in the United States.
UPS says it will use the IPO proceeds to buy back some stock from
existing shareholders. UPS also expects publicly traded equity to give the company
financial flexibility to make acquisitions.
A 22-year veteran of UPS, Kuehn served as vice president of business
information and analysis.
