USFREIGHTWAYS EXPANDS GUARANTEED DELIVERY SERVICE    USFreightways Corp. has expanded its guaranteed delivery component to its newly designed portfolio of less-than-truckload services.
   USF Guaranteed has been available within select regional markets, the new service broadens the USFreightways service offering to encompass its entire nationwide network of regional carriers and provide them with the following advantages:
   * Service eligibility between all direct points served by the USFreightways Regional Carrier Group — next-day, regional, inter-regional, and national.
   * Simple activation by adhesive label or written bill of lading notation.
   * Guaranteed on-time delivery by 5:00 p.m. local time within USF Premier/USF PremierPlus service standards.
   * Proactive notification upon delivery and in the instance of a known delay.
   * A zero-dollar invoice in the unlikely event of a service failure.
   USFreightways provides supply chain management services, including next day, regional and national less-than-truckload transportation, logistics, domestic and international freight forwarding and regional and national truckload transportation.
