Kalmar to supply reachstackers to Libra’s Brazilian ports    Swedish Kalmar Industries, provider of heavy-duty materials handling equipment to ports, has won an order from Libra Terminais S/A of Brazil for 13 ContChamp DRF reachstackers to be delivered to its container terminal facilities in the ports of Santos and Rio de Janeiro.
   Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
   The machines have a lifting capacity of 45 tons and can stack containers six-high. The first five units will be delivered to Libra’s Terminal 37 and Terminal 35 at the port of Santos in August this year, while the remaining eight machines will be delivered in two batches of four, in October and November, at both Santos and Libra’s Terminal 1-RIO at Rio de Janeiro.
   Kalmar’s ContChamp DRF reachstackers are equipped with low emission engines that meet 97/68 EC Stage 2 and U.S. EPA Tier 2 standards.
