Envirotainer appoints Interavion to handle sales in India    Swedish temperature-controlled container provider Envirotainer said Monday it has appointed Interavion Pvt. Ltd in India to meet demand for its temperature-controlled air cargo containers from the country’s aggressively growing health care industry.
   Envirotainer has been carrying pharmaceutical products to and from India for more than a year, using Interavion as its local sales management for the region.
   According to Interavion officials, India has now become an integral part of the global pharmaceutical supply chain, with the Indian pharmaceutical industry worth about $8.8 billion annually and with roughly 40 percent of those revenues coming from exports to other countries. The industry forecasts a yearly growth of over 20 percent through 2010.
