Doll maker revealed as AMB Redlands DC lessee    The maker of the popular Bratz Dolls toys has been disclosed as the manufacturer leasing nearly 750,000 square feet of Redlands warehouse space announced by San Francisco-based industrial real estate firm AMB Property Corp. July 8.
   MGA Entertainment, which produces the doll franchise, signed the $22 million, eight-year lease with AMB through its agent Les Small & Co. of Los Angeles.
   The doll maker plans to consolidate its current Rialto distribution facilities to the new space, located within the 1.3 million-square-foot AMB Riverside Distribution Center. MGA, which said it manufactures its products in 'the orient,' will use the Redlands facility as a major national distribution center.
   MGA said it expects the facility to employ up to 125 workers by 2009.
   Earlier this year Los Angeles-based logistics firm Weber Distribution signed a 10-year lease for the other 564,000 square feet of the AMB Redlands building, the largest single building in AMB's global portfolio.
   Weber uses the facility to provide transportation and distribution services to its food and retail customers including Cadbury Schweppes and Nestl' Waters.
   According to AMB's portfolio listings, the firm owns or has investments in 166 Southern California industrial properties representing 18.2 million square feet. Southern California is the firm's largest regional market.
