CEVA opens new HQ for South America

The Netherlands-based third-party logistics provider opened a new headquarters for South America and a Center of Logistics Excellence in Sao Paulo, Brazil.    CEVA Logistics opened a new headquarters for South America in Sao Paulo, Brazil, which will bring together operational and back-office functions under one roof, the third-party logistics company said.
   In addition, CEVA opened a so-called “Center of Logistics Excellence” in a dedicated area of the building where customers can experience the tools and methods CEVA applies to optimize supply chains and create a competitive advantage.
   “The center allows us to demonstrate ‘real world’ logistics innovation through supply chain optimization and enhanced visibility, integrated services and technology solutions to power supply chain efficiency,” CEVA Executive Vice President for South America Richard Vieites said in a statement.
   The company already has three other Center of Logistics Excellence sites, which are located in Jacksonville, Fla.; Singapore; and Ashby de la Zouch, United Kingdom.
   Based in the Netherlands, CEVA serves 150 countries in over 950 locations with 42,000 employees.
