The airline will take delivery of the first of the A310Fs this month with the other two following in October and December. The 40-ton maximum payload aircraft are to be deployed on KUZU’s regular charter routes in Europe, the CIS, Africa, the Middle East and Far East. They will join the airline’s existing fleet of four A300-B4 freighters.
'We have an expansion strategy which this deal has enabled us to adhere to,” said Fatih Yurdakul, KUZU’s chief executive officer. “The Airbus A310Fs are an ideal fit to our growth plans. KUZU is very proud to be growing its fleet, especially at a time when many airlines around the world are parking aircraft.'
The airline, based at Ataturk Airport in Istanbul, is part of the KUZU Construction Group, established in 1943.
