The company, which is a whole or part owner of about 15 Chinese terminals and four overseas, said container through put at terminals at which it is an investor totaled 13,350,136 TEU compared to 12,116,015TEU in the third quarter of 2010.
The company is also a container leasing and management company. At the end of September, its fleet was 1,744,949 TEU, 6.8 percent more than a year earlier. It said utilization of the containers in the third quarter was 96.1 percent, down from 99 percent in the third quarter of 2010.
