U.S. Commerce Secretary Gary Locke and South Korea's Minister of Knowledge Economy Lee Youn Ho on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding on commercial cooperation.
The MOU outlines three areas for bilateral cooperation:
U.S. garment importers in deal with Koreans
The U.S. Association of Importers of Textiles and Apparel (USA-ITA) and Korean Federation of Textile Industries (KOFOTI) said Monday they have signed a cooperation agreement and would seek to have the U.S. and Korean governments to implement the U.S.-Korea Free Trade Agreement.
