North American Airlines names Wehrenberg COO

North American Airlines names Wehrenberg COO    Peachtree City, Ga.-based World Air Holdings Inc. has appointed Jeff Wehrenberg as chief operating officer of its wholly owned subsidiary North American Airlines.
   Effective Feb. 1, Wehrenberg replaces Steve Harfst, who is “leaving the company for another business opportunity.”
   Wehrenberg is president of New Heights Aviation Services, prior to which he held senior executive roles at Chicago Express Airlines (ATA Connection), Tran Meridian Airlines, Mesaba Aviation and Express Airlines I (Northwest Airlink).
   World Air Holdings said Wehrenberg has been working in a consulting capacity with its other subsidiary, World Airways, since August.
