The new organization aims to provide clients easy and full access to Geodis’ portfolio of intercontinental transportation, customs clearance, road freight transportation, warehousing and last-mile distribution around the world either through its own assets or selected partners.
Alongside the existing lines of business, four new regions have been established under central leadership responsible for the full GEODIS service offering. These regions are Western Europe, the Middle East and Africa; Northern and Continental Europe; the Americas; and Asia Pacific.
Region heads are Laurent Parat, Western Europe, the Middle East and Africa; Thomas Kraus, Northern and Central Europe; Randy Tucker, the Americas; and Onno Boots, Asia Pacific.
Marie-Christine Lombard, CEO of GEODIS, said, “We believe that this new organization will make it easier for our customers to access our services through a stronger local presence. It will also offer more opportunities to develop end-to-end logistics solutions to optimize our clients’ supply chains.”
Leaders of lines of business are Olivier Mélot, distribution and express; Olivier Royer, road transport; Eric Martin-Neuville, global freight forwarding; and Boris Pernet, supply chain optimization.
In addition, GEODIS, which is headquartered in France, is enhancing two central departments: business development and marketing, with the mission to design and build end-to-end logistics solutions, and innovation and business excellence, with the mission to embed innovative ideas in business processes.
Kim Pedersen heads business development and marketing. Philippe de Carné leads innovation and business excellence.
