New services connect Far East with India, Middle East Hanjin Shipping and fellow Korean carriers KMTC, STX and Sinokor will launch two services connecting the Far East, India and the Middle East in November.
   Hanjin said Tuesday the Far East India Express (FIX) and Far East Middle East Express (FMX) will replace an existing service called the Far East India Middle East (FIM).
   FIX will use five ships with about 2,500 TEUs capacity, with two supplied by Hanjin, two by KMTC and one by STX. Hanjin said the service aims to cover the growing demand boosted by the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between Korea and India back in August.
   Port rotation will be Qingdao, Busan, Kwangyang, Shanghai, Ningbo, Yantian, Singapore, Nhava Sheva, Penang, Singapore and Qingdao.
   FMX will use six 4,000-TEU ships with four supplied by Hanjin and one each supplied by STX and Sinokor. Port rotation will be Qingdao, Ulsan, Busan, Kwangyang, Shanghai, Ningbo, Kaohsiung, Shekou, Singapore, Bandar Abbas, Jebel Ali, Khor Fakkan, Karachi, Singapore and Qingdao.
